Merrifield Park - Event Parking
Merrifield Park
Additional event parking has been made available South of the venue at Merrifield Park just a 250m walk to the race location. Please use this parking option to ensure hassle free parking and to ensure ample parking for our local supporting businesses at Mullaloo.
The entrance to Merrifield Park, Kallaroo is via controlled gate access from Clareville Crescent (160m north of Bigola Ct). Please access Merrifield Park from the East. Vehicles can access from Northshore Drive via Northshore Ave, Aristride Ave then Clareville Cres. The map below shows the location and access point.
Please DO NOT park on Northshore Drive on the verge of Merrifield Park as this poses a risk to cyclists and other road users if cars are pulling out or reversing from the verge!
We recommend 2km, 5km and 10km athletes who start later use this carpark!
Tom Simpson Park, Mullaloo Beach
Limited parking will be available next to the start at Tom Simpson Park, Mullaloo Beach (Northern end only). As it is a popular location it is recommended to arrive early to ensure a spot and allow plenty of time for registration. Tom Simpson Park has parking for over 300 vehicles at the venue car park. Please do NOT use this location if you intend to leave early but use the event parking area at Merrifield Park (see above)
Mullaloo Beach
Parking is available opposite the Dome and Mullaloo Surf Club. This is on the South side of Tom Simpson Park and has in excess of 150 parking spots. Please do NOT use this location as we prefer this is used by local business and organisers. We encourage participants to use the event parking area at Merrifield Park (see above)
Oceanside Promenade, Mullaloo Beach
There is roadside parking available on the Western side of Oceanside Promenade which is just a short walk to the race venue. This is a good option for event parking and a quick get away post race.
Parking restrictions
Please be aware that all parking regulations enforced by the Council will apply throughout the course of the event so please refer to their parking signs for more details.
Spectator Viewing
Spectators will be able to obtain a great vantage point at Mullaloo Beach and Tom Simpson park as well at the Dome, Mullaoo Beach Hotel and Swell Kitchen.
