Own the sunrise on the Sunset Coast - whether its a personal challenge, an outing with the family and friends or a race with sporting rivals, get outdoors and welcome the spring at this great run event. Parents with Kids
Note - Parents may run to accompany their child but are required to also enter the event.
If however you have already entered in another of our races on event day then you do not need to pay entry to run with your child. In this case please collect a wristband at registration to show you are running with a child and remove your race bib prior to the start of your child’s race.
Minimum age requirements
2km - 4yrs (unless in pram/stroller)
5km - 4yrs (unless in pram/stroller)
10km - 11yrs
21km Half Marathon - 14yrs
42.2k Marathon - 18yrs
Prams/Strollers
Prams are permitted to be used by walkers or runners, however for safety reasons we request you start from the back of the field in your event. Children within prams (under 4) are free (please see the info desk when collecting your race pack to collect a race band). If you would like your child to receive their own medal please register them as a separate entrant.
Wheelchair Participants
Wheelchair participants are more than welcome to participate in the all of the race distance options, however for safety reasons please start from the back of the field. Also, please be aware there are a few short but steep climbs on the course, except in the 2km event.
All wheelchair entrants are allowed one accompanying adult as a helper free (please see the info desk when collecting your race pack to collect a race band).
If you are a competitive wheelchair participant please notify the organisers in advance.
